About

Hi!  I’m Irene.  I’m a marketing communications consultantwriter and small business owner with over 19 years experience leading creative marketing strategies for clients of all shapes and sizes.

As a matter of fact, many of those clients have been small business people who were big on ideas and tight on time, staff and budget.  Those clients—and my own entrepreneurial adventures—are the inspiration for Small Biz Big Time.

My goal is to make Small Biz Big Time a great resource and connecting point for small business owners who’re trying to figure out how to run and grow their endeavors successfully.  In addition to addressing the use of social media and digital PR & marketing, we address financial and legal issues, technology options, HR concerns and work-life balance.

This blog is a collective resource for business DIYers.  If you’re still ‘doing it yourself,’ keep clicking on over to get timely biz buzz. Together, we’re learning how online networking, technology , wise decisions and a well-balanced life can help us go big time.

I’ll bring you real life stories, practical tips and use-now ideas to make sense (and maybe some cents) of it all!  And please, let me know if you have any topic ideas or are interested in contributing.  Contact me anytime at irene@msg2mkt.com.

Thanks for being here!

    Hello Irene,

Since you have so many posts on FB Fan page etc… I thought you may be able to help. Do you know if there is way to convert your current friends to fans? Do I have to create the fan page and invite them and hope they become fans?

    I appreciate your help.

    • Hi Danyelle!
THANKS for stopping by my site. And you’ve answered your own question, actually. You would need to create the fan page and send out invitations to your current friends. There’s no way to convert them otherwise.

I’m happily glad to answer any other questions. If you get your fan page up and running, let me know. Maybe you could be a ‘small Biz Big time’ case study!!

      Good luck…and thanks again,
      Irene
